Difference Between Desire and Want
A want is a commitment to a goal. A desire is an emotive, whimsical fancy, but it is also the force that draws the want to you. When desire and want coincide, manifestation is immediate. When they don’t, you'll find yourself saying, 'This is not what I wanted!'
For instance, in the case of the beautiful house, your desires could let you down. You may find yourself going after trinkets of less substance, instead of holding out for what you really want — the house. When this happens, stop and realign your desire with your want.
