The Golden Peace Circle joins the youth of the world today in their pledge of silence to raise awareness of all those children around the globe who are silenced by their circumstances of poverty and/or exploitation, and have no voice. And we support this initiative with our Consciously Creating™ meditation poem, “Lighting Up Lives”.

and as surely

as the early morning tide

washes away footprints in the sand,

so let our waves of compassion and heart-centered living

sweep powerfully around the globe,

gently transforming

all those conditions that spawn poverty and exploitation

so that each child on our planet today and every day

is free

to explore and express the light of her magnificence and power

is free

to tumble and laugh and play

is free

to discover and pursue the beauty of their innermost dreams

and create a life of his own choosing.”
